When I look at the disastrous beginning of our very own RCB in the arena of IPL and their pathetic performance, I just cant making these silly jokes, thoughts which amuse me rather console me.
I find many reasons for the RCB’s miserable failure.Probably during auction, Mallya must have drunk his very own brand the ‘Royal Challenge’ hope I am correct I am pretty poor at those brands. He was so drunk that he Choose Wasim Jaffer thinking him as Wasim Akram!!! He was shocked and deeply hurt when he saw Jaffer batting in IPL 1.
He appointed Venkatesh Prasad as bowling coach, this time he felt Venkatesh as best economic bowler on the earth available, bad thought mister Mallya!!!You know one secret. Mallya has not paid or going to pay a single ‘pisa’ to Dravid, KP, Kallis, Taylor and Rider. As these players have singed when they were drunk.
It happened without their knowledge. Now this would justify the RCB’s performance. For my observation I don’t find any good bowlers in RCB, My conclusion on this, Mallya thought bowling and batting are not done by two different players. He thought all rounders like Kallis, Greatest All rounder RCB has (or should I say had) who never performed as a all rounder, for me he never looked like ‘RCB’ian rather looked opposite team player.
Praveen Kumar infamous for attitude. Never bowled to the potential, oh yeah yelled to the potential!!! or banged the bowl when managed to catch.Robin Uttappa as stagnant as Uttappa!!! I just doubt is he Robin Uttappa who played last T20 world cup.Kumble never looked like a one day bowler!!! Oh I still have confusion is he a medium pacer or leggie. He will make a great fast out swing bowler along with Venky. These two can be opening seam bowlers for RCB that too against Sanath Jaysurya.
Virat Kohli!!! A Poster boy. He could well fit in next Kingfisher calendar as boat man. Most of the times looking into camera.
